About the Author

A former naval officer, Dr. Lora Fulp Efaw was a retired family physician and doctor of integrative and holistic medicine who provided patient care for more than 25 years. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, now Augusta University, and completed residency training in family medicine at Naval Hospital Jacksonville. Before retiring from practice in 2019, Dr. Efaw owned and operated a successful Christian-based primary care clinic in Tifton, Georgia. She focused on preventive care and nutritional medicine. Dr. Efaw passed away in October 2021, but her legacy of faith and inspiration continues.
